Our classes for toddlers celebrate their independency, letting them have a pluck, scrape, bang, blow or press of whatever instrument is offered to them. "Help me do it by myself" is our philosophy for these years, based Maria Montessori's approach. They are given the chance to discover something and take ownership of it as well as having the teacher modelling how to do it. They are shown how to use mallets, play different instruments and use props so that they are able to copy and figure out how to do it themselves. Activities include call and response songs, musical commands to discover various musical concepts like pitch, tempo and dynamics and a meaningful theme to grab their interest and experience a fun and imaginative adventure. Easy Dances improve their social skills as well as their gross motor perception.
